SLIETON Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
Thank you for choosing SLIETON. This Warranty Policy explains the limited warranty coverage for SLIETON ironing boards sold in the United States through SLIETON or authorized sales channels. Please keep your order confirmation, receipt, or other proof of purchase, as it may be required for warranty service.
1. Priority Limited Lifetime Warranty for metal components
SLIETON provides a Priority Limited Lifetime Warranty for the metal components of eligible SLIETON ironing boards. This coverage applies to defects in materials or workmanship in the metal frame, metal legs, metal support structure, and metal iron-rest structure under normal household use.
For purposes of this policy, "lifetime" means the reasonable useful life of the product while it is owned by the original purchaser. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper storage, unauthorized modification, commercial use, or normal wear and tear.
2. One-year limited warranty for accessories and wear parts
Accessories, replaceable parts, and normal wear parts are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the original purchase date. This includes, where applicable, the ironing board cover, padding, plastic parts, non-slip feet, caps, hooks, rails, fasteners, and other non-metal or replaceable components supplied with the product.
This one-year coverage applies to defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover ordinary wear from regular use, stains, burns, cuts, cosmetic changes, fading, fabric compression, or damage caused by improper use or care.
3. What this warranty covers
- Manufacturing defects in covered parts.
- Defects in materials under normal household use.
- Eligible metal-component issues during the reasonable useful life of the product for the original purchaser.
- Eligible accessory or wear-part issues within one year from the original purchase date.
4. What this warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, drops, impact, improper assembly, improper storage, or failure to follow product instructions.
- Damage caused by excessive heat, open flame, water exposure, outdoor storage, rust from improper care, or harsh cleaning chemicals.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal product function, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, or surface marks.
- Products used for commercial, rental, institutional, or industrial purposes unless SLIETON confirms coverage in writing.
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, secondhand marketplaces, liquidation channels, or as used/open-box items unless otherwise required by law.
- Products that have been modified, repaired by unauthorized parties, or used with incompatible parts.
- Shipping delays, incidental losses, or damage to clothing, irons, flooring, furniture, or other property.
5. Warranty remedies
If SLIETON determines that a product or covered part qualifies for warranty service, SLIETON may, at its discretion, repair the product, provide a replacement part, replace the product with the same or a comparable model, or provide another appropriate remedy. Replacement products or parts may differ in color, design, or availability if the original item is no longer available.
Any replacement part or product is covered for the remaining term of the original warranty period, or for any longer period required by applicable law.
6. How to request warranty service
To request warranty service, please contact SLIETON customer support with the following information:
- Your name and contact information.
- Order number, receipt, or other proof of purchase.
- Product name or model, if available.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photos or videos showing the product and the affected part.
SLIETON may request additional information to verify eligibility. Please do not send any product or part back unless SLIETON provides return instructions.
7. Shipping and handling
For approved warranty claims, SLIETON will explain any applicable shipping or handling process before service is provided. Depending on the issue, product location, and applicable law, the customer may be responsible for certain shipping costs. SLIETON will not request unnecessary returns when a photo, video, or part replacement can reasonably resolve the claim.
8. Important limitations
This warranty is provided in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. To the extent permitted by law, SLIETON is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the product.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
